STRATEGY:
Draw in more first time visitors by combining a popular game with interests in nature.
– Working in the game system itself we identified hotspots (gyms, and stops) that would attract players.
– We designed a hike that would include playing the game.
– The hike sold out in 2 days and the PokémonGO Battle event was widely attended.

– Through our organic reach, we identified an audience that had interest in both PokémonGO and nature.
– Targeting this high tech audience we created two events, a hike, and a gym battle to attract them to Glen Helen
– The event was the most quickly sold out of any event Glen Helen had previously hosted
